THE STORY

A Plated Affair started in 2015 as a small meal prep business based in Cronulla, Sutherland Shire NSW. The Founder and creator of the brand Gracie was competing in Power Lifting at the time and posting all her meals online ( Hash tag all for the gram). The demand and response to replicate meals was huge and so it begun! But like any new business we needed customers! It was worth a shot but We started on Tinder and thatโ€™s where 80% of our original clientele was from! This may not have been great for dates but it sure made the starting of our brand a huge success. The last 4 years have found us growing from strength to strength, and bought us to where we are now! We have officially doubled revenue 3 years in a row and on track for next year to hit our targets again!

APA has been designed to assist you in all your social, private and corporate occasions. We offer delicious hand crafted treats and meals to impress even the most hard to please. 

Hospitality is a very physically hard industry to work in, there are long demanding hours, while the business was starting up Gracie worked up to 120 hrs+ a week! The things you do to make your dreams come true. 

Like every small business I have ever met, staff is the hardest part! But we are very privileged to be apart of a local networking group called BNI โ€“ Business Network International and with the support and help of such an amazing group, I have been able to connect with the right staff to help APA grow.

APA recently had a Social Media Campaign go viral with over 6 Million hits in one month! The Ultimate Cheese Board featured on Lad Bible world wide. Making time to network and meet other liked minded businesses is super important to grow any small business so connecting with the incredible Australia wide Social Media and content marketing company called Lick Your Phone was a game changer. 

We have huge dreams of expanding all over Australia but so much to learn before then, and will be looking to open a second Sydney city location later this year!

The Boss Babe

Gracie is a native of Coffs Harbour Northern NSW and moved to Cronulla, Sydney 10 years ago to which she now calls home. Being one of 4 kids she learnt from a very young age at the dinner table, in order to eat you have to get in fast. ''2 4 6 8 Bog in Don't wait'' was the dinner slogan, and with two older teenage brothers you had to be quick.

Gracie's passion for food and produce started in the kitchen and home garden at age 6, always entertaining her friends and family. She decided to turn her passion into a full-time career at age 24 after a health scare.

Her love for food and people is complimented by her kind heart and her strong work ethic. Each platter boasts quality food produce, a high level of professionalism and an attention to detail only found in food prepared with passion.
