A Plated Affair – Delivery Terms

Thank you for choosing A Plated Affair. Please read these delivery terms carefully before placing your order. By placing an order online, you agree to these terms.

  1. Delivery Pricing

  • The delivery price shown at checkout is subject to change depending on your delivery area. Additional charges may apply to what is charged at checkout.

  • Delivery fees are calculated based on the distance from our base in Kirrawee. Any difference in price will be invoiced separately.

  • For areas further than 48 km from Kirrawee, please contact us at feedme@aplatedaffair.com.au for a delivery quote.

  • If you select the incorrect shipping option at checkout you will be sent an invoice for the balance owing for the correct fee. This is payable the day the invoice is emailed.

2. Delivery Windows & Timing

  • Week day standard delivery arrives anytime in a 3 hour window of 9-12pm. If you need your delivery to arrive at a specific time you will need to select the priority delivery option (see section 3)

  • Delivery windows may be affected by traffic conditions and unforeseen delays.

  • If your delivery window changes by more than 15 minutes, our logistics team will contact you with the revised window as soon as possible. (For priority delivery you will be advised if it is changing by more than 5 minutes).

  • Drivers are allocated 15 minutes onsite at each delivery location. If you require assistance with unloading or setting up, extra time can be arranged at $25 per 15 minutes.

3. priority delivery + after hours delivery

  • Priority delivery is available at checkout and ensures your delivery arrives in a half hour window of your choosing. Priority delivery times are available 8-2pm weekdays and 8 -1pm weekends.

  • After Hours delivery is a delivery required anytime before 7am and anytime after 2pm weekdays or 1pm weekends. There is limited availability for after hours bookings and these must be booked in by our catering concierge team only. Please email feedme@aplatedaffair.com.au if you would like to discuss booking an after hours delivery. Additional Charges apply.

4. MINIMUM ORDERS FOR DELIVERY

  • Weekday deliveries require no minimum order for delivery for either standard or priority options.

  • Saturday deliveries require a $1000 minimum order to book and will arrive in a half hour window. Please email catering concierge at feedme@aplatedaffair.com.au to confirm your delivery window is available as we can have limited availability due to other bookings. This is a separate selection at checkout (different charges apply to standard weekday delivery)

  • Sunday and public holiday holiday deliveries are booked in by catering concierge only and not processed via an online order.

5. Receiving Your Delivery

  • Please ensure someone is available to accept your delivery during the allocated window (e.g., 9–12 am).

  • If you authorise the driver to leave the delivery in a safe place, please note this in the order notes section. We do not attempt second deliveries.

  • If the delivery is a gift, please inform the recipient to ensure it is received promptly and not left outside.

6. Delivery Address & Access

  • Ensure all delivery details are accurate and up to date, including:

    • Correct street address and house number

    • Recipient’s current mobile phone number

    • Your contact details for any questions or issues

  • If there are parking or access challenges, a person must meet the driver at street level to assist with unloading.

  • Drivers do not enter apartment blocks, units or shopping centres. They will call the nominated number on arrival to be met at the entrance.

6. CORPORATE ACCOUNTS

  • Corporate Accounts have access to reduced delivery windows.
